PSECU in the Community
Making an Impact Where it Counts
At PSECU, we’re more than just a credit union - we’re a community partner, living by the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.” From sponsoring local nonprofits and delivering hands-on financial education to supporting students with scholarships and rallying our employees to volunteer, we’re on a mission to make Pennsylvania a better place to live, work, and thrive. Our commitment to community impact goes beyond financial services - it’s about making lives better.
Our Pillars of Support
We believe in supporting organizations that align with our values. That’s why we focus on four pillars of support: children, education, the environment, and well-being. These partnerships allow us to make an impact throughout the entire state and bring about real change in our communities.

Children's Miracle Network
Every child deserves a chance at a healthy future. By supporting the Children’s Miracle Network, we help provide critical healthcare services to children, giving them hope for a better tomorrow

Junior Achievement
Financial education is key to personal success. Through our partnership with Junior Achievement, we’re helping students understand money management, entrepreneurship, and workforce readiness, preparing them for a bright financial future. Our efforts with Junior Achievement have provided thousands of students with the tools they need to manage their money effectively and set financial goals.

Feeding Pennsylvania
Partnering with Feeding Pennsylvania, we’re working to ensure that no one in our communities has to wonder where their next meal will come from. Through three major initiatives, we’ve contributed over $50,000 annually to fight hunger across the state.
- Hunger Action Month: Every September, our members join forces with us to support Hunger Action Month, raising awareness and funds to combat food insecurity. Through member contributions and our matching donations, we strengthen our collective impact, ensuring that food banks across Pennsylvania are better equipped to serve their communities.
- Fill a Glass with Hope®: This campaign focuses on raising funds to provide fresh milk - one of the most requested items by food banks - to families in need. Thanks to the Fill a Glass with Hope program, they’ve been able to collect enough money to provide 36 million servings of fresh milk to Pennsylvanians who need it most since 2015.
- Hops & Vines for Hunger: This statewide fundraising initiative raises the bar in the mission to fight hunger. During the month of November, breweries and wineries across Pennsylvania host local events to fundraise for the cause. PSECU matches every dollar raised during these events, doubling the impact and helping to provide much-needed resources for families facing food insecurity.
