Protect the Benefits of Your Credit Union

Congress is considering new tax laws that could directly impact credit unions - and the members they serve. Take a stand to help us preserve lower fees, better rates, and the personalized service you count on.

Why Credit Unions Matter

As a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative, PSECU reinvests earnings into better rates, fewer fees, and free financial education. Our structure allows us to focus on your financial well-being - not shareholder profits.

A Legacy of Service

Credit unions were created to provide fair, affordable financial services - especially to those overlooked by traditional banks. For more than 90 years, PSECU has helped members, families, and communities achieve more through trusted financial partnerships.

Why This Matters Now

Some lawmakers are considering changes to credit union tax status. If enacted, these changes could increase costs for more than 140 million Americans who rely on credit unions like PSECU.

As it stands, the federal tax exemption allows us to return value to our members. Losing it could mean higher fees, fewer services, and reduced access to affordable financial solutions.

How You Can Help

Credit unions were built on the philosophy of people helping people - and right now, your voice matters. Let Congress know that taxing credit unions is a tax on the people who use them.
