Today, I’m excited to share with you that we’ll soon be launching our brand-new online banking platform. Coupled with our recently redesigned mobile banking application, we’re making managing your finances with us even easier and more convenient than ever before.
In addition to incorporating changes based on your feedback, as well as extensive research and development, online banking will now mirror our mobile app, providing a consistent experience across both platforms. Its dashboard will offer an array of content, like an easy-to-read overview of your transaction history and current finances, your credit score, and quick links to popular features, just to name a few. The dashboard will even display personalized financial tips to help you better understand your finances and make the most of your money. Overall, the redesigned platform will improve navigation, simplify processes, and offer a smoother member experience.
While our redesigned online banking platform will have an updated look aligned with our modernized branding efforts, it won’t have many new features on day one. Going forward, however, the infrastructure on which it is built will enable us to deploy added tools and resources we just weren’t able to accommodate in our legacy platform. Moreover, with both mobile and online banking operating on the same back-end technology, we’ll be able to offer a more consistent experience and faster delivery of future enhancements.
So, you might wonder when all of this will happen. We’ll begin the phased rollout of our new online banking platform sometime in May, with hopes of having all members fully converted this summer. Shortly thereafter and throughout 2022, we’ll start to add additional upgrades.
It may seem like a lot of change to take in at one time, but don’t worry. We’ll keep you up to date on the conversion by providing more information via email in the coming weeks. If you haven’t signed up for digital banking yet, now’s a great time to enroll.
Our new online banking platform and mobile app are just two of the many forward-thinking digital tools and services we’re proud to offer you – our valued members – to ensure we continue providing technology that meets your unique banking needs, whenever and wherever they arise.
Within digital banking, don’t forget about our other tools and services that we highlighted as part of our Bank Green initiative leading up to Earth Day, like bill payer, mobile deposit, e-Statements, and direct deposit. If you’re not taking advantage of these digital offerings yet, I’d encourage you to consider doing so today. Not only will you get to experience the convenience and time-saving benefits of digital-first banking, but you’ll be helping the environment, too.
Thank you for your continued patronage and PSECU membership!
Sincerely,
George W. Rudolph
