Harrisburg, PA (April 12, 2021) – In celebration of National Credit Union Youth Month, PSECU, Pennsylvania’s anytime, anywhere digital credit union, will offer a free Kids & Money Webinar on April 20. Open to members and non-members alike, the educational event will take place from 12-1 p.m. (ET). Register by April 19 to attend.
“We all know that practicing smart saving and spending strategies is important – and it's a good habit to introduce to your child at any age. But while teaching your child about money management early on can help set them up to be a financially savvy adult, it may seem like an overwhelming undertaking,” said PSECU President and CEO George Rudolph. “If you'd like to learn about simple, interactive ways to help them understand financial concepts and get an overview of what educational savings options are available to lead them on the path to success, tune in to our next webinar!”
The credit union’s one-hour Kids & Money Webinar will focus on the following areas and will conclude with an interactive question-and-answer period:
- What your child should know about money
- Activities to teach your child money concepts
- Financial planning for your child’s future
“Please join us for this webinar and share the registration details with anyone else who might benefit,” said PSECU Financial Education Analyst Lisa Kennedy, who will present the webinar. “Attendance is open to all, even if they’re not a PSECU member!”
