Harrisburg, PA (March 13, 2023) - PSECU’s Candice Richards, Regional Membership Development Manager, has been named a Women of Influence by Lehigh Valley Business, a multimedia news source serving the Lehigh Valley. The Women of Awards honor high-achieving women for their career accomplishments. The honorees are selected based on their professional experience, community involvement, and commitment to mentoring.
“I’m humbled, shocked, excited, and nervous, all at the same time,” said Richards. “I can’t express enough how appreciative I am of this nomination. It means a lot that the awards panel considered me worthy of this distinguished honor.”
Richards has been instrumental in raising the profile of Pennsylvania’s largest credit union in the Lehigh Valley. In her role, she has oversight of the six PSECU Financial Education Centers on university campuses in the region as well as PSECU Select Employee Groups. As Richards explained, “In a nutshell, my main job is to be the face, hands, and feet of our phenomenal credit union in this region as we strive to serve our members with excellence and invite others to join the PSECU family as well.” She has served in her role since joining the credit union in 2014.
“This year’s Women of Influence are professionally successful and committed to making a difference, inspiring change, and mentoring the next generation of leaders,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of Lehigh Valley Business/BridgeTower Media. “We are pleased to recognize these incredible women.”
The winners will be honored at a celebration on May 10 at DeSales University’s University Center, 2755 Station Road in Center Valley. A networking reception begins at 5 p.m. followed by dinner and an awards celebration at 6 p.m.
