Harrisburg, PA (June 20, 2024) - PSECU, Pennsylvania’s digital-first credit union, today announced its 28th annual scholarship program winners. This year, the program is awarding six scholarships - valued up to $8,000 each for a total of $48,000 - to graduating high school seniors in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and North Carolina to reduce the financial burden of pursuing postsecondary education. Winners are selected based on academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and critical thinking and writing skills.

"Since 1997, our scholarship program has awarded $1,224,000 to 162 students, helping to shape our future leaders. We are deeply committed to assisting students in achieving their academic and professional goals by providing these vital funds."
From the more than 720 applications PSECU received this year, the following winners were selected:
If scholarship requirements are met, including maintaining a minimum GPA, the winners will receive a $2,000 scholarship every year over the next four years for a total scholarship value of $8,000 per student.
"PSECU was founded to create financial opportunities for our members, and our scholarship program exemplifies this mission," Rousche explained. "These scholarships do more than just alleviate financial burdens – they empower students to achieve their dreams.
