Harrisburg, PA – September 13, 2024 – PSECU, Pennsylvania’s digital-first credit union, raised a total of $104,210 at its eighth annual Chips In Golf Outing on September 12, 2024, at Dauphin Highlands in Harrisburg, PA. PSECU had pledged to match the funds raised at the golf outing, totaling up to $50,000. That total - $104,210 - was divided equally and donated to PSECU's four charitable pillar organizations: Junior Achievement, Feeding Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Envirothon, and Children’s Miracle Network.
This year’s golf outing welcomed approximately 150 attendees, including 112 golfers and 77 participating PSECU employees. The event began with breakfast, included a warm-up period for golfers, putting and hole-in-one contests, and concluded with an awards luncheon and check presentations. With the support of 26 sponsors, including SHI, TTEC, Enacomm and Settlement Engine, PSECU was able to exceed its goal of donating $25,000 to each organization.
“The remarkable success of this year's Chips In Golf Outing underscores PSECU’s support for the communities we serve," said PSECU President & CEO George Rudolph. "What a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the invaluable work our pillar organizations do to shape a brighter future for the Commonwealth all while engaging in a little friendly competition. We're honored to be a part of this ongoing tradition.”
Since the Chips In Golf Outing’s inception in 2017, PSECU has raised over $300,000.
