Fundraising through annual jersey auction supports life-saving care for children across Pennsylvania.

Harrisburg, PA – October 22, 2024 – PSECU, Pennsylvania’s digital-first credit union, partnered with four Minor League Baseball teams across Central Pennsylvania this season to raise $29,451 for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals through a special jersey auction initiative. The teams involved in the partnership included the Harrisburg Senators, York Revolution, Lancaster Stormers, and State College Spikes.

The partnership supports CMN Hospitals by auctioning off specially designed jerseys worn by players during select games. Each team creates unique jerseys to celebrate their support for CMN, and PSECU contributes to the initiative by making a donation to kick-start each auction.

“At PSECU, we believe giving back to the communities we serve and supporting CMN Hospitals is one way we can make meaningful change,” said George Rudolph, PSECU President & CEO. “Our partnership with these Minor League teams unites our community for a vital cause—providing essential care for children. This year’s jersey auction was another powerful reminder of what we can achieve together.”

PSECU began this annual initiative with the Harrisburg Senators in 2004. Since then, PSECU has grown the partnership to include all four teams. This year, the combined efforts of the Harrisburg Senators, York Revolution, and Lancaster Barnstormers raised $9,411 through jersey auctions. PSECU contributed an additional $12,000, bringing the total amount raised by these teams to $21,411. The State College Spikes raised $5,040, with PSECU donating $3,000 for a total of $8,040.

“This generous contribution from PSECU and each team will help CMN Hospitals provide life-saving care to children across the Commonwealth,” said Aimee Daly, Ph.D., President and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. “Thanks to their unwavering support, CMN Hospitals will continue to ensure that families receive medical support when they need it most.”
