Keeping your finances in check is a no-brainer. As a PSECU member, it’s important to make sure that your account details, like your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number, are kept current and accurate. Here’s why and how you should keep your PSECU account up to date.
Keeping your account information current, your contact details especially, is crucial for security purposes. This helps ensure that we can quickly get in contact with you if there are any account issues like suspicious activities. Being able to communicate quickly in these situations is key to preventing fraud and making sure your money and assets remain safe.
Outdated information can lead to disruptions in service. For instance, if your address or email is not up to date, you might miss out on important notifications including statements, policy updates, or other account alerts.
PSECU is always coming up with new products, services, and features to offer members. By keeping your account current, you’ll always be in the loop about the latest offerings and can take full advantage of your membership benefits.
Whether you’re applying for a loan, setting up automatic payments, or making external transfers, having current info can streamline these processes – which can save you time and reduce the likelihood of transaction errors.
The easiest way and quickest way to update your account is with digital banking.
In online banking, simply log in and click Menu in the top left corner, then Profile & Settings. You’ll see options like phone number, email address, username, and password that you can update by clicking Edit.
In the mobile app, click the menu toggle at the upper left corner, then Profile & Settings.
Life changes, such as moving to a new home, should prompt an immediate update to your account. However, even without major changes in your life, a good practice is to review your PSECU account details periodically to make sure everything is accurate and you have the most current information available.
Keeping your PSECU account up to date is an important task when it comes to managing your financial health and making sure your assets remain safe. By regularly reviewing and updating your information, you can enjoy uninterrupted service, enhanced security, and full access to the benefits of your PSECU membership.
